The below mentioned steps should be followed during instances where an existing CAFE report needs to be migrated from one instance to another( i.e Development to Production server).
Follow the directions in the post “Switch Source” and update the TM1 datasource connection with destination server information.
Add the Flex view to the Excel sheet.
Click on “Flex View” on the top left corner of the active excel sheet.
The Properties window should open up, Click on the “Update” button below the Cube Property box as well changing the host and server settings.
Select the System and Package and select Ok.
The Flexview should get updated with the data from the new system.
